To Start A Conference Call
|
|
When you sign up for iNEX Global Conferencing Plus, you are provided with a toll and/or a toll free service access number along with your Conference ID and PIN. To host a conference call,
simply provide your conference participants one of the access numbers and your Conference ID (but NOT your PIN) and of course date and time of the call.
For yourself as a conference host:
- Dial either the toll or toll free service access number.
- At main menu, press "2" to start your conference.
- If you are prompted for the PIN, enter it now followed by "#" (you can always register your phone numbers, such as your cell, work, or home phones, from which you frequently make calls and you are not required to enter the PIN).
- You are joined to your conference.
For all participants as conference guests:
- Dial either the toll or toll free service access number provided by the host.
- At main menu, press "1" to join as a guest.
- When prompted, enter the Conference ID followed by "#".
- You are joined to the conference.

In Conference Options
|
|
As a conference host, you have complete control over your meeting during the conference.
On the other hand, your conference guests/participants only have limited options.
Conference Host Options:
- At anytime during the conference, press "##" for help on these options.
- Press "#1" to dial out and add a participant. See the Mid-Call Conference section for more details.
- Press "*2" to start or stop conference recording.
- Press "*3" to drop the last participant who joined the conference.
- Press "*4" to hear the name of the participants (if available) in the conference.
- Press "#4" to hear the number of participants in the conference.
- Press "*5" to mute all the lines in the conference except yours.
- Press "#5" to unmute all the lines in the conference.
- Press "*6" to mute your line.
- Press "#6" to unmute your line.
- Press "*7" to lock the conference so that no more participants can join the conference.
- Press "#7" to unlock the conference so that additional participants can join the conference.
- Press "*8" to end the conference when you hang up.
- Press "#8" to allow the conference to continue after you hang up.
- Press "#9" to hear your account balance (prepaid customers only).
- Press "*#" to cancel the help playback at anytime.
Conference Guest Options:
- At anytime during the conference, press "##" for help on these options.
- Press "*6" to mute the line.
- Press "#6" to unmute the line.
- Press "*#" to cancel the help playback at anytime.

Mid-Call Conference/Add Participant
|
|
The mid-call conference feature allows you to dial out and add participants during your conference.
You can make use of this feature anytime before joining a conference or after you've joined a conference.
To make a call, press "3" from Main Menu or "#1" if you are already in a conference.
See the Make Call section for more details on how to make calls in general.
- At anytime during the phone call, press "##" to put your call on hold and bring up the mid-call menu.
- At mid-call menu,
- Press "1" to add the call to your conference.
- Press "2" to drop the call to return to your conference (if you were in a conference) or to return to Main Menu (if you place this call from the Main Menu).
- Press "3" to join another conference (available only if you place this call from the Main Menu).
- Press "9" to hear your account balance (prepaid customers only).
- Press "#" to cancel the menu and return to your call.
- Press "0" to repeat the mid-call menu prompt.

How To Make Calls?
|

The following instructions are for making a phone call in general. To make calls after you've joined a conference, see the In Conference Options section for details.
To use the mid-call options, see the Mid-Call Conference section for details.
For your convenience, we strongly recommend that you make use of the 1Dial feature for your calls.
In general, to make international or domestic long distance calls,
- Dial the same toll or toll free access numbers you used for conference calls.
- At main menu, press "3" to make a phone call.
- If you are prompted for the PIN, enter it now.
- For domestic calls, enter number with the leading "1".
- For international calls, enter "011" + Country Code and phone number.
- To speed up the dialing, always end the phone number with the "#" key.
- At main menu, press "9" for account balance (prepaid customers only) or "0" to repeat the menu.
